DIRECTIONS From the A38 Expressway travelling from Plymouth to Exeter, take the exit sign posted to South Brent and at the end of the slip road, turn left and then take your third left onto Plymouth Road which is signposted "Village centre and shops, Free parking and Health centre". Proceed along this road until you reach South Brent village and continue straight through the village onto the one-way road signed Church Street, following it around to the right and over the railway bridge. Continue straight out of the village and follow this road for approximately 1.1 miles until you reach a left-hand turn signposted 'Merrifield' and 'Badworthy'. SITUATION The Land at Badworthy is situated just off the Lower Badworthy To Didworthy Bridge Cross road, between South Brent and Didworthy in the South Hams area of South Devon. South Brent which stands in the southern foothills of the Dartmoor National Park and on the northern edge of the South Hams, 17 miles from the centre of Plymouth. Although this is a very secluded spot, the A38 dual carriage expressway which connects to the M5 Motorway and national road network is just a short distance away to the south-west.

The village of South Brent has a strong community with three Churches, a Primary School and a wide variety of shops. There are well regarded community colleges at Totnes and Ivybridge, approximately 8 and 5 miles distant respectively and both towns offer a comprehensive range of facilities for the wider community. Some of the finest beaches on the south coast along with the south-west coast path are all within easy reach.
