From Exeter, follow the A30 in the direction of Honiton. Take the B3174 exit towards Ottery St. Mary/Whimple. At the first roundabout, take the third exit to Exeter Road/B3174 and then shortly afterwards, at the second roundabout, take the first exit into Exeter Road. Follow the road into the village of Ottery St. Mary and turn right onto Hind Street (signposted for Honiton/ Seaton/Sidmouth). Continue through the village, following the signs for Seaton, along Yonder Street and continuing as it becomes Chineway Road. Follow Chineway Road out of the village for approximately 2 miles, proceeding up the hill through the forest, and the entrance to Chineway is on the right hand side shortly after passing the Chineway Head junction sign.
