HISTORICAL NOTE Cornwood Station is believed to have been opened in the mid-1800's with an Italianate building feature on the north side which incorporated a booking office with waiting room on the ground floor with the original accommodation for the Station Master being on the first floor. The station itself was subsequently closed.

DIRECTIONS From the A38 go through Lee Mill, take the road to Cornwood after you head down the hill and the road flattens out (about circa 2.5 miles from Lee Mill), look for the signpost. (on the left), at the crossroads posted Corntown. Take this left hand turn and head up the hill and at the next junction take a left. Continue on this road for approx 1/3 of a mile and the property is near the woodland on the left as you go down a hill. If you reach the railway bridge you need to go back up the road as you have come too far.
