The two villages of Brixton and Yealmpton are within a 5 minute drive and offer a range of services including small shops, farm shop, Health centre, pubs, garden centre, post offices, churches and primary schools. The A38 South Devon Expressway is only a few minutes away, providing easy access to Plymouth, and beyond. Plymouth Sound offers a vast array of watersports such as kayaking, SUP, diving and deepwater yacht marinas. The Tamar bridge, the gateway to Cornwall is just 15 minutes away.

DESCRIPTION Luscombe Maye present this most spacious and beautifully presented barn conversion, known as Damson, within the prestigious Hareston Farm Development. The setting at Hareston offers the best of both worlds: a quiet rural enclave of 14 barns and a convenient location for the coast, Plymouth and Dartmoor. Offering over 1400 sq ft of accommodation, the first impression when entering the home is its deceptive scale. The generous room sizes and use of vaulted ceilings in many parts of the property create a light and airy space, which is further complemented by the contemporary style kitchen and bathrooms and use of traditional materials such as oak flooring. Underfloor heating runs throughout the property.

The ground floor features a wonderful open-plan living room, offering great flexibility in how the space can be used. The fitted kitchen has been increased in specification beyond the original layout provided by the developer and includes a wide range of cupboards, solid worktop, drawers, integrated eye level Neff oven, Neff combination microwave, Neff induction hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Adjacent to the kitchen is the utility room with further cupboards and work top (matching the kitchen), central heating boiler, space and plumbing for a washer/dryer and boiler. A door opens at the far end of the utility in the downstairs WC.

The open-plan living room continues from the kitchen into two further joined yet separate spaces arranged in an L-shape. A patio area accessed via French windows from the living room offers rural views and sun in the morning through to the early afternoon. A contemporary styled gas woodburner style fire sits below a vaulted ceiling.

On the first floor, the two spacious double bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities enjoy vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. The vendors have installed bespoke fitted wardrobes to both bedrooms. Both bedrooms have lofts, both being plaster boarded, painted and carpeted. An airing cupboard on the landing houses pressurised hot-water tank.

Completed in 2019, the property still has the balance of the original new home warranty.
